Panormos Beach

At the northern edge of Mykonos, just before reaching Agios Sostis, lies the stunning Panormos Beach. Located 7.7 kilometres from Mykonian Breeze, this beach is an oasis of tranquillity and beauty, accessible only by transportation.

Whether you seek a romantic getaway with your loved one or anticipate a day filled with excitement, Panormos welcomes you with open arms. Its crystal-clear waters and rugged landscape with cliffs will make you feel as if you're secluded from the rest of the world, offering an escape like no other.

The surrounding landscape is barren and rugged, a characteristic feature of the Cyclades, particularly on this side of Mykonos, where northerly solid winds are almost daily. Despite Panormos Bay being open to the north, the beach is famous for its crystalline waters, which are not as chilly as those found on other island beaches, making it even more attractive for swimming.

At Panormos Beach, you can indulge in comfort and luxury as umbrellas, sunbeds, and other amenities are provided. Additionally, there is a yacht dock for those who wish to arrive by boat. If you prefer not to pay, there is also free space to spread your towel and enjoy the sun and sea.

Furthermore, the southern part of the beach is a wild paradise, with small coves ideal for snorkelling exploration, occasionally visited by naturists. The warm, soft sand and calm waters create a tranquil and relaxed atmosphere that invites you to enjoy the exotic beach experience.

This area was the first to be inhabited on the island, and excavations revealed a prehistoric settlement from the Paleolithic era, around 5000 BC. Once, this beach was secluded and mainly visited by the island's permanent and old residents. Although it is now busier than before, Panormos Beach maintains its tranquillity and familiarity, being a corner of Mykonos where peace reigns.
