Mathew Tavern, ideally situated across Tourlos new port, between Mykonos Town and Agios Stefanos beach. The distance from Mykonian Breeze apartments is 8.7 km. In a magnificent setting with views over the bay, this charming taverna welcomes guests for more than 30 years. Locals recommend it, because of the excellent food and perfect service. Don’t forget to try the local recipes, such as stuffed mushrooms, zucchini with tyrovolia (Mykonian cheese), Matthew’s burger and salad.
Nikolas Tavern is serving in Mykonos, Agia Anna beach, Paraga, since 1967.
It’s the local’s favourite beach tavern. The distance from Mykonian Breeze apartments is 9.2 km. It is a family restaurant, which was created by Nikolas and his wife Katerina, with much passion and desire for quality homemade food. The tradition of fine cuisine and high-quality customer service was continued by their daughter Anna, which in turn handed to her son Nikolas. The tavern’s character is unchanged for over three generations and reflects the traditional Greek cuisine. All the vegetables come from the family’s nearby farm, while all the meats come from either local producers or the family farm as well. Even the seafood is fresh and locally sourced. Nikolas goes fishing for it every evening! The taverna’s food is not only flavorful and delicious, but it’s also the epitome of the eat local movement.
Kounelas Fish Tavern, since 1969, is the best place to go if you want to try traditional Greek treats which you will never forget.
You can find it at Odos Svoronou, hidden almost behind the town hall of Mykonos at a narrow street with a small yard. Fish is what you must try since they are experts at the fish barbeque. You can enjoy fresh fish, shrimps, squid, octopus, lobster, shellfish dishes—an extensive menu of tasty, authentic Greek food at very reasonable prices.
